Cardiff manager Lennie Lawrence has returned to one of his old clubs to make his first signing for the Bluebirds. Lawrence has signed Middlesbrough striker Andy Campell on a month's loan.

The 22-year-old could be plunged in for a debut against play-off rivals Huddersfield Town.

Former England Under-21 international Campbell has made 35 senior starts for Boro, as well as 36 substitute appearances, the last of which was against Charlton Athletic in February

Campbell also scored in Boro's fourth round FA Cup win over Manchester United.
