Cardiff move up into eighth place after winning 3-0 in what was a scrappy game. The win sees the bluebirds move just one place outside of the play off zone.
Special mentions should be given to Scott Young, Andy Legg and Mark Bonner because they were the players who really held things together for City. Both teams were quite scrappy and it was these three who turned the game for Cardiff with a mixture of skill and sheer hard work.
Citys first goal came on 19 minutes when the Swindon keeper Bart Griemink failed to deal with an easy backpass, this allowed Earnshaw to nip in and score an easy tap in into the unguarded net. Earnshaw was sunstituted after his goal as he was suffering with a hamstring strain. His replacement Gavin Gordon was absoloutely terrible and showed no commitment whatsoever. Gordon was taken off himself in the second half.
Jason Bowen sealed the win with goals in the seventy first and eighty first minutes. All in all a pleasing win for City.
