Huddersfield are the last team currently above us that we will play this season. Cardiff skipper Graham Kavanagh is suspended and so will miss the clash. Kavanagh will be replaced by the more than capable Layton Maxwell. more worrying is the abscence of Mark Bonner who is out with an injury. It is thought that Jason Bowen may drop back into midfield to replace him. However this lineup would leave Cardiff without a quality passer in the centre of the park
Andy Campbell is also likely to start up front alongside record signing Peter Thorne.
Good luck to the lads!!!!
what Kavanagh said
"I'm very disappointed to miss these two games, especially after getting two wins and scoring the goals.
"At this point in the season it's very important that we have everybody available. We can't afford to have any more suspensions.
"We're now in with a great shout of making the play-offs. We're only three points off third place and that's fantastic.
"Just over a week ago, after we lost at Brentford and Wigan, it was all doom and gloom. But now we have a great chance of making the play-offs and that's a credit to the lads.
"We were written off last week. We've been written off many times this season. Rightly or wrongly, the pressure at Cardiff is incredible.
"Every week not only have we got to win but we've got to play exceptionally well and that's a bit unfair in this division.
"Sometimes you have to grind out results and that's what we've done in the last two matches."
