Kevin Nugent has told Colchester Utd boss Steve Whitton he will be staying in Wales.
Speaking on the official Colchester Utd website Whitton said
"The move is off. Kevin has decided to stay with Cardiff, and it's just another frustrating chapter in our search for a new striker. We'll start looking again, but it's very disappointing that we have been unable to get Kevin to come and join us."
Colchesterunited.net are reporting that the move for Matt Brazier is still alive.
